What is new in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose today?
It is great to be in the Los Cabos area now; we can feel the elliptical motions of our earth through our change in weather! From a hot summer to a refreshing autumn, there is no need for the A/C at home or in our automobiles, which equals less gas and electricity to help our beloved planet. Plus, thanks to the rain a few weeks ago, our hills and mountains are totally green! Yes! The desert is blooming and the contrast with the blue horizon is strikingly beautiful.
Once again, the never-ending fishing attraction in Cabo is here: the international Bisbee’s Black & Blue . This year there are a total of 103 boats participating from United States, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Costa Rica, Russia and Ukraine, among other countries. You can stop by the Cabo Marina today (the last day) and participate in this fiesta with all the tourists, locals and anglers… and if you’re lucky, you might get to see one of the “catch of the day”. Yesterday, an incredible 484 lb black marlin was presented at the weighting scale by the 10 Brothers Fishing Team, from Chicago. They were on the Dream Weaver boat and claimed the fishing prize of the day. But if you are not into fishing, there are many more fun activities you can do in the area, such as golfing, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving and sunbathing.
For our real estate followers, we have fabulous news in our San Jose del Cabo office! We are the proud representatives of a new and fresh private development: Village at La Jolla, offering a lavish choice of 22 magnificent building lots ranging from 5,000 to 7,500 sq ft and starting at only $98,000 USD. Each distinctive lot presents breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez, the golf course, mountains or to the city lights. Keep posted to hear more news and the date for our grand opening event.
And last, but definitely not least, our friend and sales associate Robert Ruyg has an accepted offer on a 2 BR, 2 BA condominium in downtown San Jose. Buyers are making a smart buy in a nice and secure complex, just across the street from the beach. Remember that opportunities are still available with several financing options for nationals and foreigners; we will be more than glad to help you with this process!
Thank you again for following us. We will be back next week with more information about the many activities and news in Baja California Sur. Until then, have a great weekend!
